J&M Body Shops

Jim Justice has had a fascination with automobiles since childhood. At three-and-a-half years old, with feet barely reaching the pedals, he drove his father's pickup through the garage door. At 14, he repaired cars in his driveway for family and neighbors. Then just nine years later, after graduating Benson Polytechnic High School in Portland, the young, yet focused 23 year old opened his first auto body shop.

"I get a kick out of taking a vehicle that's totally a mess and making it look like new," says Jim Justice, President of J&M Body Shops.

More than a quarter of a century after opening his first shop, J&M Body Shops has grown to include multiple shops throughout Portland providing sophisticated services that include body, frame, paint, suspension alignment, and detailing.

Dedicated to the accuracy of collision auto repair, Jim furnishes only the best equipment. His master technicians undergo continued education and are trained to operate the technologically advanced machines with confidence. J&M has ben awarded the coveted ASE Blue Seal of Excellence, and is I-Car Gold Class certified.

To ensure customer satisfaction, J&M asks each client to complete a questionnaire that rates performance on a scale of 1 - 5, 5 being the highest. Anthony Ogden of Southeast Portland gave J&M straight "5's" after they repaired his Toyota Pickup. "They were very professional and had excellent service. I will recommend J&M to my friends," he says.

Judy Weller of Lake Oswego drives a Honda Accord. This past spring, after an accident, she went to J&M for the repairs. "The back door lock needed adjusting. J&M fixed it immediately and returned my car spotless and beautiful."

"The service was great!" says Cheryl Hedge of Milwaukie, who recently had her Toyota Pickup repaired. "J&M made an inconvenient situation much easier to deal with."

J&M Body Shops recognizes the unique relationship between the repair facility, car owner and insurer. "J&M Body Shops offers service that other shops don't. They have free towing and rental cars and even go so far as to drive over to a client's house so they can follow them back to the shop," says Todd Saracco, Farmers Insurance Group, who has used J&M for several years. "Even the most hard to please clients call and tell me how happy they were with the speed and efficiency of the repair and how the J&M staff was so friendly."
